FAQ - Rukus Cycling App

Login

Username / Email Address

Your username is the email address associated with your account. If you forgot which email you used, try searching "Rukus" or "Rukus Cycling Studios" in your inbox. Otherwise, simply ask your home studio to confirm the address on file. 

Forgot Password

Don't worry, it happens to the best of us! Simply tap on "Forgot password?" on the login page of our app. 

Change my Password 

If you need to change your password, 

  • If you are Signed In to the app, please tap on the hamburger menu located at the top left of the screen. Tap "Log Out" > Tap "Log In" > Tap Forgot Password > Enter your email address > We will send you a link via email to change your password. 
  • If you are Signed Out of the app, Tap "Log In" > Tap Forgot Password > Enter your email address > We will send you a link via email to change your password. 
MindBody Account

Yes, at Rukus we use the same email address used within your MindBody account. 

Multiple studios populated once I entered my email address, what do I do?

When multiple locations have populated, that means you have a profile at each of these locations. Please select your Home Studio (where your billing resides) when logging in. 

(Error): I'm sorry. There is no account associated with that email address.

The email you entered is not associated with your Rukus Cycling Studios profile. We can always update the email on file, please contact your home studio to do so.

  • Please ensure you have the correct spelling.
  • Confirm you have the correct domain name entered, (i.e. @gmail.com). 
(Error): Incorrect login information.

You most likely entered an incorrect password, please try again or reset your password by tapping on "Forgot Password".

Home Screen

What does "Rides" and "RukusScore" mean?
  • Rides are the total cumulative rides you have taken at Rukus! 
  • RukusScore is your total RukusScore points, earned for attending rides, sharing on social media, purchases, and more. 
Phone, Chat, and Email Icons, what do they do?

These icons allow you to quickly Call, Text, or Email your home studio without having to dig for their contact information. 

View my Upcoming Rides

You'll be able to view a list of upcoming rides, from here you can tap on the Bring a Friend option which allows you to easily set up a Friend with their First Ride Free. You can also cancel your ride from this screen. 

Need to adjust your bike, simply cancel the ride (before the cancellation window) and re-book the ride. 

We are currently aware of a limitation with one of our 3rd Party Service Provider's API that does not allow you to modify your bike number. We are working diligently to get this feature added back to the app for you. You may always modify your bike by calling, texting, emailing, or within the studio when you attend the ride. 

Contactless Check-In

We offer contactless check-in within the new Rukus app! 30 minutes before your scheduled ride time, and as long as you are within the geo perimeter of the studio you can check-in. Our Bring a Friend button will simply change to a Check-In button. 

Please ensure you allow the Rukus Cycling 2.0 app to utilize your location services to enable this function. 

 

Booking a Ride

How do I book my First Ride Free?

Your First Ride Free is booked by a member of our studio team, they will contact you to find a class time and CyclePro that best fits your personality and preference. 

How do I book a ride?

If you are at the home screen of the app, where the header says "Welcome back, Jessica" please tap on the Book a Ride button or simply tap the "Book" button on the lower menu bar. 

You will be brought to the studio schedule. We will default to your home studio, however, you can use the "Filters" button at the top right-hand corner to view multiple studios, CyclePros, and class times. 

Need to adjust your bike, simply cancel the ride (before the cancellation window) and re-book the ride. 

 

How do I cancel my ride?

From the home screen of our app, you can easily tap on the "Cancel" button which will confirm you would like to cancel your ride. You will not be charged a late cancellation as long as you cancel your ride before the cancellation window. 

Booking errors, what should I do?

Please contact your home studio and share the error with them (preferably screenshot and send via text or email). A few steps will need to be performed on the studio's end to reconnect your Rukus profile to the app. If you are receiving the following error when trying to book after you tapped book on the class schedule. 

  • An error occurred in finding spots for class.
  • Could not locate your profile, please try again. 
  • An error occurred in finding spots for class from the app. Error Details: Could not locate your profile, please try again. 
  • Or the error popup looks similar to this, 

If you are seeing any other type of error, please contact your home studio so they can assist in resolving the error, most errors can be resolved by your home studio. 

Ride History

What is the Ride history page?

Our ride history page is a comprehensive view of your previous rides and your RukusStats for those rides.

  • Class Duration - total duration of your ride. 
  • Total Calories Burned - how many calories you burned during your ride. 
  • Average MPH - your average MPH during the ride. 
  • Total Ride Points - how many points your earn based on overall power, that is converted into RukusScore points.

Are you missing or seeing incorrect stats on this page?

Please inform your home studio if you are missing or seeing incorrect stats on this page, so they can confirm all of your account information matches and is showing you accurate data. 

RukusStats Preferences

Can I change my TV Display Name?

From anywhere within the app, simply tap on the hamburger menu located at the top left of the screen to open the sidebar menu. 

  • Under your name, you will see "Account" and "Preferences" please tap on "Preferences".
  • From this screen, you can adjust your Display Name, if you do not have anything entered we will use your First Name and Last Initial. 

You can always ask a member of the studio team to adjust your screen name. 

Adjust whether your stats are displayed on TV.

From anywhere within the app, simply tap on the hamburger menu located at the top left of the screen to open the sidebar menu. 

  • Under your name, you will see "Account" and "Preferences" please tap on "Preferences".
  • From this screen, you can toggle the "Show my RukusStats in the CycleArena" to on or off.
    • Green (On) = Yes, show. 
    • Gray (Off) = No, do not show. 
Complimentary Shoe Rental and Size Request

From anywhere within the app, simply tap on the hamburger menu located at the top left of the screen to open the sidebar menu. 

  • Under your name, you will see "Account" and "Preferences" please tap on "Preferences".
  • From this screen, you can share your shoe size with us so that we can pre-set them in the applicable shoe pickup cubby and let us know if you'd like to borrow shoes or not.
    • Green (On) = Yes, provide me complementarity shoes. 
    • Gray (Off) = No, do not provide me complementarity shoes. 

RukusScore

View my total RukusScore

From the home screen of our app, you can view your total RukusScore points, earned for attending rides, sharing on social media, purchases, and more. 

Access my RukusScore account to redeem

From anywhere within the app, simply tap on the hamburger menu located at the top left of the screen to open the sidebar menu. Then tap on "RukusScore" which will launch within your local browser. 

You can also access it anywhere by visiting https://score.gocyclenow.com 

You will need to log into your RukusScore account with your email address. Your RukusScore password may be different than your Rukus Cycling 2.0 app password, if you are having any issue logging in please reset your password. 

If you are seeing any errors when logging in, please ensure you have activated your RukusScore account by contacting your home studio. If you have not fully activated the RukusScore account, your home studio can resend the invite to your email address. 

My RukusScore is showing 0, why is that?

If your RukusScore is showing a 0 value on the home screen, this is usually due to your RukusScore profile not being activated yet. You will always earn points, however, to view your score and redeem, you'll need to activate your profile. 

  • Please ask your home studio to resend the RukusScore activation email to you. 

 

Additional Features

Bike Setup Settings + Preferences

From anywhere within the app, simply tap on the hamburger menu located at the top left of the screen to open the sidebar menu.

  • Tap on Bike Settings
    • You will be able to save your bike setup preferences here in case you ever forget the perfect setup for your ride. 
Account Settings

From anywhere within the app, simply tap on the hamburger menu located at the top left of the screen to open the sidebar menu. 

  • Tap on Account, located just underneath your name.
    • You will be able to update any information on file.
      • Name
      • Email
      • Date of Birth 
      • Gender Preference 
      • Address
      • Phone Number 
      • Billing Information - for your privacy, we do not load your current billing information into the app.
        • If you are updating this information, a positive confirmation will be shown if the new information has been pushed to your profile. 
Send a message to any studio.

Have a quick question, or need to send a message to your home studio. From anywhere within the app, simply tap on the hamburger menu located at the top left of the screen to open the sidebar menu.

  • Tap on Need Help? 
    • Select your studio and send them a quick message.
